3 Tomatoes I'll Grow Again

Probably my favourite days in the spring are the ones where I get to hang out with Linda Crago. Linda has been a mentor for me in Tomato growing. I always love the Niagara Seedy Saturday that she puts on in Wellandport and the times Dad and I visit Linda to get plants at her Tree and Twig Heirloom Vegetable Farm. Linda is an AMAZING tomato grower. She has grown so many varieties—and she can tell you all about them.

(I’m speaking this year at the Niagara Seedy Saturday—come see me!)

Here are 3 tomato varieties that I got from Linda and absolutely loved!

Florentine Beauty: A beautiful yellow, ribbed beefsteak tomato. I LOVE the look of this tomato!

House: A delicious cherry tomato. The plant grows one foot high and is LOADED with fruit. Perfect for containers.

Glacial Zebra: A green-when-ripe ribbed and striped tomato with a nice flavour. It’s stunning, and looked great in the veggie baskets I made up this past summer.
